Standards Open Drafts – Comments and Suggestions

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems is now accepting comments and recommended changes to each of its accreditation standards.  The target dates may change depending on the volume of comments, changes, and production times.

13th EDITION CAMTS TRANSPORT STANDARDS

Target dates:

• The Standards Committee will be accepting and reviewing comments now though about January 2025
• July 2025 Board meeting ratify the Standards Committee vote
• October 2025 AMTC – Copies available for sale and download
• January 1, 2026 – New 13^th Edition Transport Standards become effective

3rd EDITION CAMTS SPECIAL OPERATIONS STANDARDS

Target dates:

• April 2026 Board meeting ratify the Standards Committee vote
• April 2026 Copies available for sale and download
• June 1, 2027 – New 7^TH Edition Medical Escort Standards become effective
